The City of Shavano Park, Texas (the City) is soliciting Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from qualified and experienced public accounting firms whose principal officers are independent Certified Public Accounts.
Request for Proposal - Professional Auditing Services

SCOPE OF SERVICES
 Objectives are to obtain audit services for performance of the City’s annual financial audit and, if necessary, single audit of federal and state grants for three (3) fiscal years beginning with the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023 through fiscal year ending September 30, 2025, with an optional renewal for one (1) two-year term, not to exceed a maximum contract period of five (5) years.

These audits are to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards as set forth by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board, the standards for financial audits set forth in the U.S. General Accounting Office's (GAO) Government Auditing Standards, the provisions of the Single Audit Act of 1996, and U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Uniform Guidance, Audits of State and Local Governments, and any other requirements from regulatory agencies. 

To be considered, ten (10) copies of all proposals and one (1) electronic copy emailed to citysecetary@shavanopark.org must be provided by 3:00 p.m. CST on April 7, 2023. Proposals submitted after 3 p.m. will not be accepted. The copies shall be sealed and clearly identified with ‘Professional Auditor Services’ by the submittal deadline.

It is anticipated that the selection of a firm will be completed on April 24, 2023.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Shavano Park Street maintenance project shall consist of the reconstruction of streets within Shavano Park, Texas. The project will include clearing, demolition, utilities (drainage and CPS Energy gas services), paving, signage, pavement markings and erosion control construction. Gas services scope will be joint bid with CPS Energy. This project is an approximate 30,000 LF reconstruction project of streets within Shavano Park, Texas.

Project will be Tax Exempt.
