ISO will then assign a Public Protection Classification (PPC) ranging from 1 to 10, with 1 being the best and 10 the worst. On June 10, 2016 the City of Shavano Park Fire Department received a classification of 2, effective November 1, 2016. The City received 80.07 out of 109.76 points possible in an audit conducted February 17, 2016.
