Finance
The Finance Office provides overall fiscal management of the City. The Finance Office activities include central accounting, financial analysis and reporting; budget preparation and control; debt management; accounts receivable, payable and general ledger; custody and investment of public funds; operations analysis and audit. This office is also responsible for the City's Municipal Court operation.
Brenda Morey began employment as the City’s Finance Director on March 12, 2018. She was previously the financial manager at Bexar-Bulverde Volunteer Fire Department from May 2014 to March 2018. She has considerable public auditing and accounting experience in both the governmental and not for profit sectors. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, gardening and taking her dog on long walks with her husband.
