As written in the contract between the City of Shavano Park and Allied Waste, there will be no solid waste pick-up on Thanksgiving Day.
If you are regularly scheduled to have garbage pick-up on Thursday, November 24, 2011 you will not receive pick-up until your next regularly scheduled pick-up day which is Monday, November 28, 2011.
Our contract allows for the following holidays to be observed by Allied Waste: New Year’s Day, Christmas Day (both on Sunday this year), Independence Day and Thanksgiving Day.
