Planning & Zoning Commission

Purpose

To recommend the boundaries of original zoning districts and appropriate regulations to be enforced therein and to hold public hearings and prepare final reports to the City council on recommendations for changes in zoning district boundaries or regulations in zoning districts. The P & Z performs other functions as are necessary or as required by State law or City ordinance.

Membership

The Planning and Zoning Commission consists of nine (9) members appointed by City Council.

Term

Overlapping two year terms.

Meets

The first Wednesday of the month at 7:30 PM.
