The City Council and staff would like to thank all those who attended the February NW Military Hwy public hearing sponsored by the Planning and Zoning Commission. This type of meeting is an essential part of our City’s three year plus Town Plan process intended to involve citizens as we work to manage the future while maintaining the rural feel of the community.

The City of Shavano Park's General Election is May 12, 2012. There are three alderman seats up for appointment on the City Council. Citizens interested in running for these positions may obtain a candidate packet beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2012 until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 5, 2012.

As part of our City's Town Plan process, the City of Shavano Park Planning & Zoning Commission will consider various proposals for future development of NW Military Highway.
